£2,250 for retrofit heat pumps in N.Ireland

In advance of the new Renewable Heat Incentive Premium Payments, PowerNI have announced grants of up to £2,250 for ground and air source heat pumps.

Air source heat pump
£1,860 Detached dwelling
£1,170 Any other dwelling

Ground source heat pump
£2,250 Detached dwelling
£1,410 Any other dwelling

The grant is only available for exisitng houses, not new builds.

This grant represents a great saving, and along with the Mitsubishi Ecodan, make 21st century air source heat pump technology more affordable than ever.
